Harry “The Hipster” Gibson (1915-1991) was a jazz pianist and singer.
He played New York style stride piano and was a master of boogie woogie, bop, blues, classical, ragtime, stride. He mixed all of these styles and create his own one.
Lots of his songs were banned from radio stations because of the subjects: drugs, adultery, but he maintained numerous followers.
